A trained mechanic, using the correct installation tools, should fit the Tyre pressure sensor valves. It is important to tighten the tyre sensor valve to the correct torque using a special torque tool, see above for torque nut setting.

Please note special care should be taken when removing tyre pressure sensors, as the position of the tyre sensors is not identified.



New tyre sensors fitted, or after tyre rotation, generally have to be triggered and programmed into the cars ECU via the vehicles OBDII socket with the correct reprogramming tools such as the ATEQ VT55 OBDII or the Schrader Eurodiag sensor programming tools.
